At 350 litres the rules change. Water chemistry becomes wonderfully stable, larger cichlids and full-grown showpiece fish become realistic residents, and aquascapes take on true landscape scale. The Rio 350 delivers all of it in the familiar, understated rectangular form, with twin-tube MultiLux LED lighting and a Bioflow filter sized for the job.

Allow the aquarium's footprint of 121 × 51 cm plus a few centimetres behind for cables. On its matching cabinet the water surface sits at roughly 146 cm — comfortable viewing height from a couch or chair. A filled aquarium weighs about 402 kg with glass and hardscape, which the cabinet and safety base frame are engineered to carry — no extra support needed on a solid floor.
